Marysville was established in 1819...but didn't become a city until the 1970... We weren't big enought before than to be offical city. Prior to that we were a village. I learned this and a lot of other things in my conversation with Steve Stolte...
Steve has been in the Marysville community for about 50 years. He has probably put in more hours serving the Marysville, Ohio community than some have lived here. He's business was hired to help do surveying and engineering work for Honda manufacturing, served as the engineer for many years, then was a county commissioner for a decade and he still continues to volunteer much of his time to serving our community.
We discussed so many things including how the community grew many decades ago, lessons learned from his years of involvement, the important of collaboration within a community along with many other things. I hope you'll join us.
